Students at the Government Higher Secondary School, Mandhar, in Raipur district, Chhattisgarh, now have a dependable source of clean drinking water, following the installation of a filtration and cooling unit donated by Astitva Foundation, Chhattisgarh. The unit was formally inaugurated by Chief Guest Anupam M. Diwan and will serve more than 900 students at the school. Teachers and parents had raised the issue for years, but a lasting solution remained out of reach - until now. The clearest sign of the project's impact came from the students themselves, who gathered around the new unit eager for a glass of cold, clean water.
