The initiative was specifically targeted where the concentration of lime in the water was high, posing health risks to the children. These filtration units effectively reduce harmful mineral-heavy water content, ensuring that children have access to purified water, underscoring our commitment to promoting long-term sustainability and well-being in rural areas.
Restoring Access to Safe Drinking Water for School Children
Astitva Foundation, Chhattisgarh donated a new water tank to Government Middle School, Bangoli after school authorities highlighted concerns regarding cracks and leaks in the existing tank, which affected the availability of drinking water for students. The new installation has resolved this challenge, ensuring reliable access to safe drinking water for the school community. The Principal expressed his gratitude for the timely support, noting its positive impact on creating a healthier and more conducive learning environment for children.
