In rural schools, a shortage of plates and glasses for mid-day meals often forces children to eat in batches, reducing learning time and affecting hygiene. By providing adequate utensils, we eliminate disparities ensuring no child is left out, streamline mealtimes, improve hygiene, and protect valuable classroom hours.

We distributed steel plates and glasses at the Government Middle School in Kandarka village, nestled in Dhamdha tehsil of Durg district, Chhattisgarh, for the school’s mid-day meal program. This ensures that every child now has a clean, durable set for their daily meals, supporting their growth, nourishment, and overall well-being.
The “Equality on the Plate” initiative is designed not just to address the shortage of utensils but to emphasize the idea of equality. Every child now has access to their own plate and glass, eliminating disparities and ensuring no child feels left out or marginalized during meal times.

Generous donation of steel plates and glasses for mid-day meal to all students at Government Primary School in Chhataud village is a heartwarming gesture that will significantly enhance the daily lives of the children. Access to nutritious meals and clean drinking water is a fundamental necessity for their growth and well-being.
This act of kindness highlights the organisation's commitment to making a positive impact at the grassroots level, where it truly matters. We firmly believe that every child, regardless of their circumstances, deserves the opportunity to thrive and succeed. This donation is a small step towards that goal, but it signifies a giant leap in ensuring these children have access to the essentials they need.

The "Sustenance and Smiles" event in Birjhapur village not only marked distribution of steel plates and glasses toward mid-day meal for the rural children but also served as a platform for community engagement, education, and celebration.
The occasion also observed “A Gift of Ceiling Fans” to the school along with tree plantation drive, reflecting our commitment to the infrastructure development in rural areas of Chhattisgarh. This initiative is a testament to our organisation's dedication to fostering positive change in the communities we serve and ensuring every child has a conducive learning environment along with the opportunity to thrive and succeed.

Distribution of steel plates and glasses was held at the Government Middle School in Amodi village, Chhattisgarh. The paucity of plates had led to an extended lunch hour to accommodate all children at the school, ultimately decreasing the study time. But with adequate plates donated by Astitva Foundation, Chhattisgarh, the lunch time decreased to as provisioned in the schedule.

At the Government Primary School in Bishrampur village of Simga Tehsil, Baloda Bazar district, Chhattisgarh, where every meal is a step toward a brighter future, we encountered a touching challenge—there simply weren’t enough plates and glasses for children to enjoy their mid-day meals. Responding to a heartfelt request from the school principal, we stepped in to ensure that no child missed out on a wholesome meal due to a lack of basic amenities.

Creating a nurturing environment for children goes beyond education, and it extends to their well-being, comfort, and dignity.
Under our Equality on the Plate initiative, we distributed steel plates and glasses to children at the Chandia Pathra village in Simga tehsil of Baloda Bazaar district, enhancing their mid-day meal experience. For many, these meals are the most nutritious part of their day, and having their own clean, durable utensils adds a sense of dignity, hygiene, and care to this daily necessity.

Astitva Foundation, Chhattisgarh in collaboration with Le Merite, Mumbai donated steel plates and glasses to rural children for mid-day meals in Chirko village near Pithora Mahasamund district, where nature and wildlife coexist with human life. The distribution program is part of our "Equality on the Plate" initiative, aimed at promoting not only the health and hygiene of rural children but also reinforcing the message of equality. The program ensures that every child, regardless of their background, receives a clean and uniform set of utensils for their daily meals at school, improving their regular attendance and overall health. The introduction of durable steel plates and glasses brings added hygiene, reducing the risk of contamination, and providing the children with proper eating tools.

We recently held an event at Government Middle School in Dhekuna village, Chhattisgarh, promoting equality through mid-day meals, ensuring a hygienic learning environment that empowers education. Steel plates and glasses were donated to rural girls, aiming to offer clean and durable utensils that promote health and well-being. The joy and excitement of the children were palpable. This initiative not only enhances the nutritional intake of the students but also instills the importance of hygiene, which is crucial for their overall development.

Astitva Foundation, Chhattisgarh expanded the ‘Equality on the Plate’ program to the Government Pre-Secondary School in Murmunda village in Dhamdha, Durg district, highlighting the importance of small yet meaningful gestures in fostering a sense of belonging and equality among young minds. When all children eat from the same type of plate, it sends a powerful message of equality and respect. The school expressed deep appreciation for our efforts, emphasizing how such initiatives not only improve the health of the children but also positively impact their educational and social well-being.

Astitva Foundation Chhattisgarh reached Surholi village in Bemetara district with its ‘Equality on the Plate’ program,. The mid-day meal program is a vital lifeline for children in rural schools, ensuring they receive at least one nutritious meal a day. However, the lack of enough plates and glasses had become a challenge, forcing students to either wait for their turn or share utensils, which compromised hygiene and dampened their mealtime experience. This inadvertently led to longer lunch hours and shorter learning times at school. Recognizing this pressing need, Astitva Foundation, Chhattisgarh stepped in with its thoughtful donation of durable steel plates and glasses for each child.
