Chess Scientist is one of the oldest initiatives lead by Astitva Foundation, spearheading the motto of 'Mohre Se Rani Tak' (From Pawn to Queen, in English). We provide chess boards, chess books, tutoring and chess instruction free of cost to all students in targeted elementary to high schools in rural Chhattisgarh. Tournaments are conducted for students to exercise their skills, reinforce their learning, and celebrate their successes.

As part of our initiative, chess kits were donated, and an educational drive on chess was conducted in Chhataud village. This program provides free chess lessons to children in rural schools across Chhattisgarh and also offers chess training for children in the United States.
Through this effort by Astitva Foundation Chhattisgarh, children are developing their chess skills while building critical thinking, decision-making, confidence, creativity, and a healthy sense of competitiveness.
We are deeply grateful to the Saint Louis Chess Club for their collaboration, which enables children in remote and rural areas of Chhattisgarh to benefit from this enriching program.

As part of our chess initiative, an educational drive was conducted in Bhadha village, where high school students actively engaged in playing chess. Recently, a chess educational drive was held at Bangoli village, bringing the game closer to young learners. As part of online chess tutoring sessions for children in rural Chhattisgarh, our chess experts are conducting an engaging class for students across the state.
The session covered the basics of the game, various chess formats, and included an explanation of the 'Indian Defense.' The children were thrilled to learn about Chess Grandmasters and World Champions such as Viswanathan Anand, Magnus Carlsen, Garry Kasparov, and others, sparking their excitement and curiosity for the game.

A chess competition was held at the Government Higher Secondary School in Uslapur, Bilaspur, bringing together young enthusiasts. The event provided an exciting platform for students to put their strategic thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills to the test.
