When Toilets made the difference, because learning shouldn’t have to wait for a basic need. In the heart of Surholi village in Bemetara Chhattisgarh, a brand-new school building stood waiting, yet something critical was missing: toilets.
We committed to donating separate toilets for boys and girls. It was a lifeline.
From Floor to Desk: Kanika's Journey to Education
Desks and chairs made all the difference for one disabled girl who previously could not sit on the floor to study. We donated benches and tables to the entire school, enabling rural children to focus and learn in a more conducive and ergonomic environment.
Clean and Safe Drinking Water
We provided clean water to the Government Higher Secondary School in Bangoli village.
The initiative targeted areas with high lime concentration in water, posing health risks to children. Water filtration & cooling units donated by us effectively remove harmful minerals, ensuring safe and purified drinking water.

We understand the challenges that rural schools often face, including limited resources for essential infrastructure. The basic educational furnishings provide comfort and support to students during their classes, enabling them to focus on their studies in a more conducive and ergonomic environment.
Equipping with Power Supply and Toilets at Mura village
The Government High School in Mura Village, Tilda block, had been awaiting basic facilities like power supply and toilets for three years since its construction of its new building. Stepping in to address this long-standing need, Astitva Foundation, Chhattisgarh donated one lakh rupees to fund the installation of electricity and construction of toilets, marking a major milestone in improving school infrastructure.
Installation of Green Boards & Ceiling Fans at Sanjari Nawagaon village

The rural school had long struggled with inadequate resources and infrastructure. Understanding the impact of conducive learning environments on student engagement and academic success, green boards and ceiling fans were donated to the school, enhancing the overall learning experience for students and teachers alike.

Touched by the sincerity of the poem, our founder personally responded. Because sometimes, all it takes to spark transformation is to listen with intent and act with compassion. Astitva Foundation, Chhattisgarh, proudly invested in the school's infrastructure development beginning with the installation of new green and white boards in every classroom.

The initiative began with a heartfelt request from the school, which shared that it needed Green Boards and Ceiling Fans for its newly allocated classrooms. With the recent introduction of Commerce and Agriculture streams in Class 11, sessions had to begin in rooms where these basic facilities were not yet installed. Recognizing this need, we stepped forward to ensure that the students’ learning is not disrupted by inadequate infrastructure.
